Our Staff

Mehgan Griffin is a Perkins native, and the founder of Briar Patch Microschool. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, North American Montessori Center Certification, and is a member of the American Montessori Society. Prior to opening Briar Patch, Mehgan worked as a classroom teacher in Oklahoma for 8 years, and more recently was a Lead Teacher in an Arizona Montessori primary school. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family and listening to audio books.

Hannah Dial is a recent graduate of Oklahoma State University. While attending OSU she received her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. Prior to this she received her associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. She looks forward to serving Perkins and the surrounding communities.
