All About Summer
We are so excited to open up our doors to children ages 3 - 9 for the summertime! Here is a little more information about what that will look like at Briar Patch Microschool at Oak Park.
Our Program
During the school year, we focus on Montessori and Nature Based Learning. However, during the Summer, we are excited to be creating a fun immersive environment based on weekly themes.
Groups will be split by age, based on group size. Groups will be 15 or less.
Enrollment
When enrolling for "camp" you will be enrolling your child for our 4-star DHS Summer Program for ages 3 and up. This will be on a weekly basis, but once a student is enrolled, their paperwork and records are good for other weeks during the summer.
To save your spot at camp, a $50 deposit is required. The deposit is generally non-refundable since it holds the spot for your camper, and is used to purchase supplies.
This deposit will go toward the final cost of camp. Remaining balance can be paid at any point, but is due by May 16.

Our Facilities
Our school is located on 11 acres at Oak Park Retreat Center. We have access to the walking paths, basketball court, playground, and Dickerson Building as our main areas.
Staff
The Lead Teachers are CPR and First Aid certified with experience in child development.
